Jaime ShurmerMelville Gazette

A RETIRED Bicton nurse is crowd funding for a product she invented, which she claims relieves foot and bunion pain.

The Amitoe uses small sections of resistance band to suspend and stretch the toe muscles at different intensities .

The product has not been medically tested because it would require a trial of 50 people but Madeleine Clozel hopes to raise sufficient funds to make and then sell the devices.

Ms Clozel experienced agonising foot pain for years and took a painkiller nightly to sleep, giving up her favourite past-time of bush walking.
