MEMBERS of an art group established to give talent from former Soviet Union states a chance to find their way in the local scene will display their work in Applecross this week.
Rivervale resident Gulia Gataullina and Joondanna local Svetlana Volodina are members of the Jacaranda Art Group (JAG), and both found their way to the WA capital after leaving Russia.
The talented pair have combined to create the Spring Impression exhibition on display at the Heathcote Cultural Precinct from Wednesday. About 25 pieces will be available for viewing, with the collection featuring a mix of styles including still life, landscape and portrait paintings.
