TWO young Applecross residents raised money for a good cause when the Rotary Jacaranda Festival ran on Saturday.

Applecross Primary School students Lachlan, 7, and Charlotte Morgon, 4, ran a lemonade stand outside of their Tweeddale Road property to help raise funds for the Applecross Rotary.

The entrepreneurs raised $105 in total, with $60 going towards the projects that the Rotary Club run.

Charlotte and Lachlan Morgon raised money for a good cause.

Father James Morgon said his kids had wanted to run a lemonade stand and the festival presented the perfect opportunity.

“The kids loved doing it and their friends came along to check it out,” he said.

“People passing by said it as cute and we had lots of people taking photos.

“It was a good community thing to do and I think it taught the kids good values.”
