FIRE has caused significant damage to Melville Primary School and Arson Squad detectives want anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.
A $50,000 reward is available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
On Friday night at 7.25pm, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services advised WA Police of the fire at the school on Curtis Road in Melville.
The fire appeared to be suspicious and a group of people, believed to be teenagers were seen in the area at the time.
Detectives would like those people to come forward and make contact via Crime Stoppers as they may have information that could help the investigation.
Arson Squad detectives and DFES fire investigators attended the school this morning.
