Artist exhibits her favourite works

The Applecross artist and art teacher will display artwork from the early days to the present, in her own exhibition A Brush With Time at the Atwell Gallery in Alfred Cove starting June 22.

Her works range from portraiture, people in places to moody landscapes.

‘I sometimes envy artists who find and stick to a particular style,’ she said.

‘But I’ve had to accept that for me, art is a voyage of discovery, a fascinating exploration of media, styles, people and places.’

The exhibition traces her journey from childhood to her studies, a period at a French painting school and her time in Africa, right through to more recent paintings of city and country WA.
