Exhibited at the Melville Civic Centre during May, hundreds of entries were judged in the 13 categories.
The judges included Ben Joel and Dawn Gamblen, Melville’s Heathcote Museum and Art Gallery curator Olimpia Cullity. Winners received prize money of between $500 and $1500.
Mayor Russell Aubrey said the talent of the artists, both established and emerging, was once again outstanding.
‘Every year we continue to be impressed by the quality, creativity and diversity of the artworks,’ she said.
