The woman (51) was charged by Arson Squad detectives last week in relation to a house fire in Palmyra on November 15, 2015.

It will be alleged the woman, who is a co-owner of the Well Road home, set fire to items in a bedroom before leaving the house that day. She allegedly put a claim to her insurance company for the estimated fire damage of $350,000 as well as $10,000 for temporary accommodation.

She will face Fremantle Magistrates Court on February 10.
