Aaron CorlettMelville Gazette

A DRAFT report of the authorised inquiry into the City of Melville has been delivered to chief executive Marten Tieleman, elected members and some staff members by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, but it will not be made public yet.

It has been more than a year since the inquiry was authorised on November 30, 2017.

All parties now have the opportunity to comment in writing on the draft report within 21 days.

A Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries spokeswoman said the information had been provided on a confidential basis because the report had not yet been finalised.
