CPR Challenege a breeze for student

The Year 11 student took part in the CPR Challenge at the recent BStreetSmart event at Perth Arena and won, with a perfect score of 100 per cent.

‘Students had to carry out chest compressions on a mannequin and a score was awarded based on their precision (depth, pace and rhythm) of their pumping,’ a St John Ambulance spokesman said.

‘Jadzia scored 100 per cent and beat some of our paramedics.’

Jadzia won an Ipad mini for her achievement.
