Applecross Primary School P&C president Elaine O’Sullivan said fundraising opportunities were otherwise limited to the school community.
“Last year we raised $3000 for the library and this year we are fundraising for a series of Naturescape playgrounds designed by the students,” she said.

“It is a great way for the rest of the community to contribute,” she said.
“We will have bacon and egg rolls, sausages in a bun, soft drinks and water.”
Booragoon Primary will offer similar, plus a cake stall, coffee, and produce from its sustainable garden including pestos and jams.
Mt Pleasant Primary School will offer a sausage sizzle, cake stall and second hand bookstall.
