The newly reformed Bicton chapter, which meets at the RSL Hall on Foss Street, needs more members.
Ms Crosbie said the group, which had previously folded, was resurrected earlier this year, with some former members returning and some new ones joining the ranks.
CWA Bicton meets on the second and last Tuesday of each month at 9.30am, with a business meeting once a month and games held on the second monthly meeting.
Five dollars provides tea, coffee and morning tea, and bingo. As well as socialising and company, meetings offer raffles and door prizes.
Ms Crosbie said the CWA was not just for county women but all women looking for a way to make new friends and have fun.
