The Penrhos College 2013 dux received Certificates of Distinction for chemistry, physics and English, plus a Certificate of Commendation.

Not turning 18 until September, Brooke is keen to continue her academic life by embarking on a Bachelor of Philosophy, majoring in engineering and maths, at a Perth university after giving ‘200 per cent’ to her studies in recent years.

‘I’ve always been committed to my studies and I put 200 per cent into everything I’ve done and managed to perfect my study technique,’ Brooke said.

The two pieces of study advice she likes to pass on is to take very detailed notes, including information from a wide range of sources, and to break essays down into small tasks to be completed one by one.
