A LEADING road safety expert will deliver a free, safe driving seminar at Palmyra Primary School on Sunday.
Bridie Scott-Parker, lead at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Adolescent Risk Research Unit, will offer tips to both learner drivers and supervisors.
The event will begin with an interactive session with professional driver trainers, and be followed by a safe driving seminar targeted at teens, parents, grandparents and anyone helping young people learn to drive.

READ NOW“Learning to drive can be an intimidating process for both young people and their supervisors, and I’d love people to come along with any questions they might have about road safety,” Dr Scott-Parker said.
“Young drivers do face a higher level of crash risk and I’ll be covering how people can take action to reduce that risk.
“Most of these tips are relevant for every driver, no matter what their age.”
