A quick survey on Harmony Day revealed that one ward at Fiona Stanley Hospital boasted staff of 39 different nationalities.

The Acute Medical Unit has staff from Albania, Denmark, Iraq, Somalia, Zimbabwe and just about all points in between.

As such, the unit is a reflection of the diversity of the hospital’s workforce.

“You only have to walk around the hospital to see the huge range of nationalities employed here,” FSH acting executive director Paul Mark said.
