Funds raised for African orphans

Every Friday for the six weeks leading up to Easter, the Year 6 Social Justice Leadership committee cook and serve rice for the students and staff at lunchtime.

In return, students bring $2 for their meal which will be sent to Matuba Children’s Centre in Mozambique, run by Caritas.

The project organiser said the idea was for children to learn about how other people in the world lived and how fortunate the students were.
