Golfers swing into action

The club raised more than $4500 to purchase equipment that will assist children living with cerebral palsy.

Last year, funds raised were put towards the purchase of a Walkaide for a young girl.

Almost 60 people braved the wild weather and took part in the 2013 charity day, which included stalls, raffles and a lot of fun.

Club secretary Lyndsay Russell said members put in a lot of work to make the day successful, particularly event co-ordinator Marg Rudderham.
