Great Wall of China fundraiser collects $12,000 for sarcoma research

A FUNDRAISING group led by Attadale’s Victoria O’Neill conquered the Great Wall of China, raising $12,000 for research into sarcoma.

Sarcoma is a rare and aggressive group of primary bone and soft tissue cancers.

The group walked 50km in four days and covered 794 floors during their trip.

Victoria’s brother-in-law Steven O’Neill and sister-in-law Tracy O’Neill flew to China from the UK for the walk and Phillip Wood, Colin Brindle, Francis Steel and Sally Brindle also took part in a skydive fundraiser for Sock it to Sarcoma.
