A police pursuit started in Fremantle last Thursday night when police tried unsuccessfully to stop a car.
After a short chase, the pursuit was aborted and later picked up again after the car was seen for a second time. Officers from five units were involved in the chase, during which a stinger was deployed in Alfred Cove, failing to stop the car.
Police say the man continued to drive along Canning Highway, through Como, where a second stinger was deployed, and on to the Causeway where he was arrested.
