Indigenous flavour for Palmyra Farmers Week as part of Naidoc Week celebration

AS part of Naidoc Week celebrations, Marissa Verma from Bindi Bindi Dreaming will be the special guest at Palmyra Farmers Market on Sunday, where she will host a food demonstration featuring bush flavours and share her knowledge of Noongar country and its people.

There will also be face painting and craft activities for children and a celebration of our Indigenous history.

Market goers will be immersed in significant cultural knowledge and information and will have an opportunity to see, touch and smell the wonders of the natural bush land.

The market is open from 8am with the Bindi Bindi dreaming demonstration and music including the didgeridoo, clapping sticks and singing beginning at 10am.
