FREE hearing checks for young and old will be available when the blue and white Australian Hearing bus stops by Melville Plaza Shopping Centre in Bicton on Thursday, August 25.
Checks are available to anyone over 18 years of age, and Australian Hearing Fremantle manager Nesa Padua said about 60 per cent of Australians over 60 had some form of hearing loss.
“Hearing is vital to everyday living, yet most Australians still wait on average eight years before taking action on their hearing loss,” she said.
“A hearing check is a quick and easy way to measure the sounds you can and can’t hear. Our team will also be on hand to guide you through what next steps you may have to take in regards to your hearing.”
Walk-ins are welcome and hearing checks take up to 15 minutes. Booking are not essential.
Big Aussie Hearing Check Bus will be at the Gerald Burns Pharmacy, Melville Plaza, 3870 Canning Highway in Bicton on August 25 from 9am to 2pm.
