Melville art students lend a helping hand with replica cow for Perth Royal Show

Jaime ShurmerMelville Gazette

GIRLS from seven schools in the area have decorated a replica cow that will stand among the floral displays at the Perth Royal Show.

The young artists, aged eight to 14 years, are part of an Adventures in Art class run from the Booragoon home of art teacher Tracey Cleeman and were approached by the organisers of the Royal Show to decorate one of three white cow statues.

“The girls are all passionate about their art and we’re thrilled to be included in this wonderful project,” Ms Cleeman said.
