REPAIRS at Melville Primary School are expected to take at least three months after a fire last weekend.
The fire caused $250,000 damage to a junior classroom block used for Year 2 classes on January 7.
A 15-year-old has been charged in relation to the fire.
School principal Betty McNeill said repairs were expected to take three to four months.

READ NOW“When school starts on February 1, our Year 2 classes will be held in other areas of the school until repairs are finished,” she said.
She thanked the school and wider community for their messages of support following the fire.
“The fire was upsetting, but the community has really come together and I am confident we will have a strong start to the school year,” she said.
