A PET adoption program aiming to link rescue cats with loving homes will be launched on Thursday.

PetRescue’s Meow’s The Time campaign will offer people the chance to adopt a new pet for $25, which includes de-sexing, vaccinations and microchipping.

PetRescue co-founder John Bishop said adult rescue cats make wonderful companions, but finding homes for them can be challenging.

The Meow’s The Time nationwide campaign will run from Thursday until November 1.

Since PetRescue was founded in 2004, more than 450,000 rescue pets have been re-homed nationwide.
