Police hunt man after Applecross burglary

FREMANTLE Detectives need help to identify a man, pictured left, who they believe was involved in an Applecross burglary on Tuesday, January 17.

He is described as being fair-skinned, aged 20 to 30 years, and of medium build.

The man also has a tattoo on his left shoulder.

He is accused of entering a Duncraig Road house about 6.35pm and stealing several items before jumping the fence and walking through the back yard of a neighbouring property.

He was seen by the neighbour and fled the property before the owner and son gave chase in a vehicle.

They found the man a short time later at a nearby primary school on Kintail Road, but when approached, he produced a knife and threatened the pair.

The man also attempted to damage their car with the knife.
