Stay safe: October is Safer Melville month

Melville Mayor Russell Aubrey said educating local residents enabled them to take action and responsibility for their own home, surrounds and personal protection.

“We have always had a focus on safety in the month of October, which is an important opportunity to provide information but more significantly helps to empower and activate the community to play its part,” he said.
