Tributes flow for woman killed at her Bateman home

TRIBUTES have been posted online for the woman tragically killed in Bateman on Friday night.

Edith McKrill was shot by her estranged husband Jim at her house on Scouler Way.

Mr McKrill was taken to Royal Perth Hospital because of injuries and died on Saturday evening.

Mrs McKrill was known for her stall Moon Rhythm at Fremantle Markets, where she sold New Age items like crystals and gemstones.

Tributes were left at the family’s house and online, including the Fremantle Massive Facebook page.

Comments included people who bought items from her stall and she was described as a “beautiful woman” and a smart, funny and genuine person.

Homicide Squad detectives are seeking information regarding Mrs McKrill’s death.
