A Division 1 OZ Lotto ticket purchased from Garden City Lottery Centre is worth $2.1 million to its lucky owner.

The as yet unclaimed ticket is the second multi-million dollar ticket sold at Garden City this year after another store in the centre, The Lotto Lottery Centre, also sold a $2.1 million Saturday Lotto winner in May.

Garden City Lottery Centre owner Terry Olds said over nine years of owning the store he had produced a handful of Division 1 winners.

“Every ticket we sell is in with a chance and I think if you treat your customers well and be positive, good things will come back which we’ve just seen firsthand,” he said.

Mr Olds said it was a welcome win and the good news had quickly spread throughout the shopping centre.

Last financial year, more than $281 million was raised through Lotterywest for health, sports, arts and many community groups located across the state.

That included a $15,000 Lotterywest grant given to the City of Melville Citizens Relief Fund to provide emergency relief for people in the area experiencing financial hardship.
