Veteran speaks at school service

Mr Schnaars served in the Vietnam War and spoke about his experience and about the role of indigenous people in the wars.

‘As part of our indigenous studies the students have been learning about the role played by indigenous service men and women in the wars and decided to invite Mr Schnaars to share his experience,’ Principal Denise Hilsz said.

The students sang the national anthem and the song Aboriginal Soldier before finishing the ceremony by sharing Anzac biscuits.
