Willagee structural fire extinguished, cause unknown

A STRUCTURAL fire was put out in Willagee this afternoon just after 4pm.

At 3.36pm a direct alarm was activated and three teams of firefighters were called to the scene on Charsley Street and North Lake Road.

Smoke was caused by an electrical fault from a distribution board.

Just after 4pm everyone in the building was accounted for and ventilation was occurring.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
