Young musos make the grade

Anatalisha spent five years in the school’s gifted and talented program and will be joined at UWA by Sahil Pradhan and Himara Kahandawela.

Also a gifted and talented student, Max Wickham had an ATAR of 97.15 and has been accepted into WAAPA to study jazz guitar.

Oliver Toole was accepted into WAAPA to study contemporary guitar and he has also been asked to audition for the Performing Arts Perspectives, held at Perth Concert Hall, as one of the highest achieving candidates in the practical performance WACE exam.

Sean Hayes will study classical saxophone at WAAPA and is one of 10 2015 graduates in the ATAR 95+ club with 97.35.

All three boys were part of the school’s swing band which regularly visits to local schools.
