Mrs Ruggiero’s Zumba Pink Party has become an important annual fundraiser, with last year’s event attracting more than 160 people and raising $7000 for Cancer Council WA.
“I’ve been holding a Girls Night In at my home since 2006 but once I became a licensed Zumba instructor I changed it to the Zumba Pink Party at Blue Gum Recreation Centre in 2012,” she said.
“Over the four years, a total of $17,000 has been raised and we are aiming for $8,000 this year.

This year’s Zumba Pink Party is slated for Saturday, November 19 and will include dinner, Zumba dancing, a raffle and a variety of games.
