LIVING HELL

He had a few drinks.

He knew it was not right.

But so what, he was in his prime;

And could handle it.

Well, didn’t you go out drinking in your time?

When breathalysed he was in a fix;

Not so much the quantity,

but in the mix.

He faces court, he will have to do time.

He has a wife and kids; the house has gone,

They are on the skids.

Once upon a time, he was doing well;

But now life is just a living hell.
