Over the last 10 months I wrote to at least six leading politicians, minister and Attorney General, including the Opposition on matters of great public concern.

Make no mistake, not one of them replied, despite ever-growing governmental administration costs. There was not even a line of acknowledgement in the name of courtesy.

That also went out of the window.

No elected member could find a junior, senior, executive or acting personal assistant to acknowledge, let alone explain sensibly any shortcomings.

How can they justify such slogans like “for a better future” on their lecterns, handbills or hoardings.

Only their PR advisers may be able to explain.

OTTO MUELLER,

Murdoch.
