Radio Silence for Barking Dogs

A BARKING dog can be very annoying and can cause trouble between neighbours.

If you have a problem with a neighbour’s dog, or your own dog there is a solution.

Ask the owner of the dog to place a transistor radio near the dog’s bed. Better still buy a dogs collar with an inbuilt radio; they are available at pet stores.

Turn it on to a 24-hour radio station, just loud enough for the dog to hear. Leave the radio on 24 hours a day whether there is someone home or not.

Very soon, the dog gets used to the radio sound and will not get nervous and hence not bark.
