Strategic Bowls Study queried

IN response to the report in last week’s edition headlined “Club chiefs pledge to co-operate for sport’s future”, the council announced at its meeting on May 17 that a Strategic Bowls Study will be released in June.

Evidently, this “study” will deal with the future of the Melville and Mt Pleasant bowls clubs.

How can this study be viable when there has been no consultation with club members, the ratepayers and residents affected?
