THANKING some people personally sometimes just isn’t enough. This is why I have taken to this newspaper to make it as widely known as possible the enormous good some people do every day.
My wife recently died after a period of illness. I want to thank and applaud the care she received from the following people.
Firstly, the staff of the Oncology Department at Fremantle Hospital; secondly, the home care she received from Silver Chain nurses and, thirdly, all the staff of the St John of God Murdoch Community Hospice.
During this period, my wife required frequent does of pain-relieving drugs, which meant frequent visits to my pharmacy.
Therefore, huge thanks to Wizard Pharmacy in Garden City, in particular to Nadia who not only dispensed the drugs but also compassion and concern.
She frequently asked me how I was.
Thank you all.
