There is a purpose-built venue for water polo competitions other than local club activities, but for reasons that are unclear, the water polo club refuses to pursue this option.
The site of the club has many constraints; one being there is no parking provided by the club, so all parking is appropriated from the neighbourhood.
Given that there seems to be an alternative venue for the cup, event, it appears that Mr Neesham just wants what he wants when he wants it or he isn’t going to play.
