Applecross’ affordable Sabina Apartments has buyers interested

Keren BellosMelville Gazette

BUYER interest in Finbar’s first Applecross development remains very high, with more than 100 groups attending the official launch weekend of the $124 million Sabina Apartments.

Knight Frank selling agent Neil Kay said it was the most successful launch for the agency “for at least a few years” and more than 840 buyer enquiries had been received to date.

“Interest has been received from a diverse group of predominantly owner-occupiers right through from first-home buyers to young professionals, families and downsizers,” he said.

“People are amazed at the level of facilities on offer in this development.

“Sabina Apartments really does seem to have something for everyone.”

The 30-storey development is stage one of Finbar’s three-stage Canning Bridge development.

It will feature 173 luxury one, two and three-bedroom apartments with resort-style amenities including a 25m heated pool and poolside cabana, gym, sauna, private dining room with kitchen, wellness room with massage table, cinematic and media hub, and business lounge.

Finbar chief operations officer Ronald Chan said Sabina Apartments would provide homebuyers looking to live in the riverside suburb with an affordable option.

“Sabina Apartments’ median price point of $695,000 offers a variety of living options to suit a range of different purchasers at a significant discount to the median price point for a house in the area,” he said.

“Our aim was to provide an opportunity for families, couples and younger buyers to buy in this area and provide older Applecross residents the ability to downsize in the area they love while maintaining the luxury lifestyle they are used to.”

At 908 Canning Highway, Sabina Apartments is near riverfront walking and cycle paths, public transport, the freeway, Raffles Hotel complex, Heathcote Reserve, schools, sporting facilities, food outlets, small shops and Garden City Shopping Centre.

Prices start from $410,000 for a one-bedroom apartment with winter garden balcony, $590,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, $870,000 for a three-bedroom apartment and $1.6 million for a three-bedroom apartment with large floor plan.

Construction is expected to start by June and estimated to be completed early 2020.
