Party to celebrate Sanctuary apartments launch

Natalie HordovMelville Gazette

DEVELOPWISE will celebrate the launch of its new $40 million Sanctuary apartment project in Mt Pleasant at Crown Towers on September 21.

Managing director John Woon said it would be a grand event with the focus on celebrating rather than selling.

“There won’t be any sales pitch or any selling on the night,” he said.

“We believe that if we make great apartments that people want to live in, then at the end of the day it’s really just an awareness campaign rather than a sales campaign because once people find out how good they are, they’ll naturally want one.”

Mr Woon said the development at 5 Wren Street was driven by the overwhelming demand from local owner-occupiers and downsizers who wanted luxury apartment living without compromising on space, quality and amenities, and interest had been strong.

“The Sanctuary comprises 47 luxuriously appointed residences that will be meticulously crafted by one of Perth’s top builders,” he said.

“The apartments are almost one-and-a-half times bigger compared to other typical apartments on the market and there’s also a rooftop garden unlike anything else in the area.

“Our vision was to create a series of homes for residents to enjoy, relax and rejuvenate, and I think we have achieved that.”

Designed by MJA Studio and to be built by Mercedes Construction, part of the Zorzi Group, the design for Sanctuary was inspired by the area’s riverside landscape and birdlife.

Mr Woon said the development would include one-, two-, three- and four-|bedroom apartments, with nearly half being large three- and four-bedroom residences.

The homes will feature large windows to let in plenty of natural light, spacious living areas, kitchens with the latest appliances and bespoke interiors.

A focal point of the eight-storey complex will be a meditative oasis-like reflection pond with a central sculpture called Flight over Water by artist Stuart Green.
