Nearly 550 riders aged two to 50 years from all over the State will compete for state plates in the Healthways event which is a qualifier for the National and World Championships.
Club vice president Sandra Wilson-Savill said members had done a huge amount of track work and building infrastructure in the last 18 months with the help of donations from DT constructions, RSA and Build West and support from City of Melville.
‘Since our track upgrade, we have now become equal biggest club in WA, with 170 riders racing each week and new members signing up weekly,’ Ms Wilson-Savill said.
