Division one teams from the South-West, Lower South-West, Mortlock, Upper Great Southern and Great Northern leagues battled it out in the round-robin carnival, with games played at East Fremantle Oval on Thursday, Bassendean Oval on Friday and the grand final at Leederville Oval on Saturday.

WA Country Football League general manager Joe Georgiades said the level of football played at the carnival was impressive.

‘We had country footballers coming to Perth from all around the state for the three-day carnival, so there was a lot of talent running around,’ he said.
