Footy club to score new score board

Costs for an electronic score board with solar panels is expected to be about $20,000 and real estate agent for Mallison’s Real Estate is coming up with her own way to raise some funds.

‘I am prepared to give $1000 per house sold, or if Mallison’s manage someone’s rental and they mention the club we will give one week rental up to the value of $500 to help purchase the scoreboard,’ she said.

Mr Raven said people just needed to mention Melville Junior Football Club when they were selling or renting their house.

‘Clubs like Melville, which has been around for 60 years, runs because of volunteers and community fundraising,’
