A TRIO of Winter Olympians swept into Perth over the weekend.

Champion Canadian pair Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford were in town to host an ice skating camp for local athletes at the Cockburn Ice Arena (CIA) in Bibra Lake.

The duo, which claimed a gold and bronze during the recent games in South Korea, also wowed a packed arena with two stunning performances.

One routine on Saturday night was skated to Billy Joel’s hit, Piano Man.

With a lack of pairs skaters in WA, CIA general manager Calandra Barrett said the audience was treated to something very special.

“The crowd was buzzing and loved them. They were very entertaining,” she said.

“It is a privilege for our skaters to have access to such inspirational and positive role models.”

Australian Winter Olympian Kailani Craine also visited the arena to perform on Saturday.

Craine finished 17th at the recent games.

Duhamel and Radford are in Perth until Tuesday.
