KARDINYA resident Alexander Fraser and Brentwood’s Brayden King have both been named in the WA Under-21 men’s hockey side travelling to NSW for the Australian Championships in July.
The pair joins Attadale’s Aimee Clark who was announced in the women’s Under-21 team unveiled last month.
WA’s Under-21 co-coach Nathan Eglington said whittling the squads down had been a difficult task because of the high level of hockey on display in Perth.

“It is without doubt one the most exciting cohorts of 17-21-year-olds to come through WA Hockey for some time and the future of the sport in this state looks extremely promising.”
Last year WA’s Under-21 women finished second while the men finished fourth.
Both will be looking to improve when they take to the field at this year’s National Championships in Wollongong from July 6 to 14.
