Laying foundation for new tradition

Staff ReporterMelville Gazette

The tradition has been running on the Monday public holiday since 1979, but this year the game has been moved to Sunday, June 2 to avoid clashing with the West Coast Eagles home game.

East Fremantle and South Fremantle players are urging local supporters to come out in force to support their WAFL teams.

The family event will be held at East Fremantle Oval with jumping castles, face painting and match day giveaways as part of the festivities. During the day, East Fremantle will also be raising money and awareness for Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation.
