SEVEN Melville Roar Athletics Club runners have been selected to compete for the School Sports WA cross country team taking part in nationals in Hobart next month.
Coach Ross Keane said he the club had more than doubled its representation after three athletes made the team last year.
“Our cross country training group has seen an increase in numbers and I think that has really lifted the bar at training this year,” he said.

Runners selected: Billie Mincham (10-year-old girls), Ky Hehir (11-year-old boys), Tia McArthur (12-year-old girls), Thomas Millard (12-year-old boys), Kayla Van Der Linden (13-year-old girls), Max Campbell-Clause (18-year-old boys), Raynor Keane (Para boys).
