Pair prepare to put skills to test

Josh (26) started out playing indoor volleyball, being named Junior Australasian champion and Under-23 Australian champion, before moving to beach volleyball, where he soon represented Australia at the World University Games.

Along with partner Damien Schumann, Josh has represented Australia at the Asian Championships, where they finished fifth.

The pair are now part of the Senior Men's national team, the Volleyroos, and are internationally ranked as the second team in the country.

The duo have now qualified for the main tour world draw and are busy raising the $26,000 needed to compete around the world and try to win themselves a place in the Olympic team heading to Rio.

The pair was recently in Perth to compete in the WA Men's Open Beach Volleyball event.
