WESTS Scarborough beat Palmyra 35-15 to hand Pally its first defeat of the season in a bruising encounter at Bennett Park on Saturday.
Palmyra held well until halftime when the West Scarborough forwards started to dominate at the set piece putting the visitors on the back foot and allowing Wests to create opportunities through the backs.
Levi Auvae and Pau Halafihi scored Palmyra’s tries with flyhalf Jared Trevarthan adding a penalty and a conversion.
Best on ground for Palmyra was Mees Erasmus with strong scrummaging and movement around the field.
