PALMYRA continued its fine run of recent form to beat Wanneroo 30-21 in horrific conditions at Kingsway Reserve on Saturday.
In the worst weather conditions of the year to date, Pally worked hard through the forward pack in heavy mud to secure the vital win.
In a game littered with handling errors Palmyra scored through three of its four tries through a front row with; a double to loose head Mees Erasmus and one try each to fellow prop Ian Hendriks and winger Panashe Kamahara.
Jared Trevathan slotted two conversion and two penalties.
The win further strengthens Palmyra’s claim to play finals in 2016 with only three home and away rounds left in the season.
This weekend Palmyra takes on Associates under lights at Tompkins Park on Friday night.
