Run chase flounders

After winning the toss, Hilton-Palmyra elected to bat first, taking advantage of the beautiful weather.

They got off to a flyer, scoring 230 runs for the loss of just eight wickets, with middle-order batsman Phil Holman scoring a game-high 70 runs, supported by team-mate Jeremy Vlasich with 65 runs, with Vlasich eventually taking out man-of-the-match honours.

Confident of a win, East Fremantle took the bat but floundered early, eventually being all out for just 191 runs.
